Director John Hughes Dead At Age 59
Famed director of the classic teen films from the eighties and nineties , John Hughes has passed away at the age of 59. Reports are stating the Hughes suffered a heart attack while out on a morning walk in New York City, where he was in town to visit some family.Hughes hit films include "Ferris Bueller's Day Off", "The Breakfast Club", "Pretty In Pink", "Sixteen Candles", "Trains, Planes, and Automobile", as well as "Home Alone 1 and 2". He is known for igniting the acting careers of Molly Ringwald, Judd Nelson, and Anthony Michael Hall, better known as members of "The Brat Pack".
Hughes had not directed a film since 1991's "Curly Sue", and is said to have quit the entertainment business to spend more time on his farm in Illinios and with his family.
Hollywood has certainly suffered another great loss, and our thoughts are with his family and friends at this time!
